You know that it’ll be a must-see since a cast member is going to be voted off every single episode this season, making it the most intense challenge yet, and that not even your new favourite from this season’s all new cast is safe. You’re well aware that there’s less than a week left in this month’s art jam over on re:Fresh Pics, where we want to see your rendition of said new favourite cast member. And you definitely know to stick around after the episode to watch My Babysitter’s a Vampire at 8:00PM.

Thursday again, and that means it’s time to get pumped for a new episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island on TELETOON tonight at 7:00 PM! It’s part of Can’t Miss Thursdays along with Season 1 episodes of My Babysitter’s a Vampire airing for the first time in Canada at 8:00 PM, so there’s no excuse for any Fresh Fans in the True North not to be tuning in!

This season of Total Drama is the most intense yet, with a contestant being voted off in every single episode! No reward challenges this year, dudes and dudettes, somebody’s packing it in each week! Drop us a comment below letting us know what you think, but try to avoid spoilers for the sake of our international friends who haven’t gotten a chance to watch the new season for themselves yet. We’ve been getting loads of questions about the voice actors for the new cast of competitors on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, so I hunted down the credits for the new season so I could share them with all you inquiring minds! …huh. There are some familiar names on that list. Eh, probably just left over from the first three seasons, right? Owen was the only one with a speaking part in the first episode, after all!

As promised last week, here are some backgrounds you can look forward to seeing more of once Total Drama: Revenge of the Island premiers on TELETOON January 5th, 2012!

First, an oldie but a goodie! Man, the dock has seen better days. It’s been two seasons since we were back on the island; wonder what’s happened in the meantime?

It should come as no surprise that there’s going to be some totally off the wall challenges this time around, but sometimes you just want to have a nice, simple race. I’m sure nothing crazy could happen during a relaxing jog through the woods. Chris wouldn’t come up with anything too dangerous!

…uh, okay, that’s a little ominous. Well, maybe the giant skull is like, y’know, ironic. Maybe it’s really a happy place with rides and cotton candy and petting zoos for small children!

Wait, why do they need a first aid tent? Is that blood?! I hope the new contestants are at least as tough as the last bunch, because TD: RotI isn’t pulling any punches!
