TDI-Exile brings us a couple of characters we don’t often see together having what looks like a whole lot of fun. Watch out, though; you just know Izzy’s hiding nearby with a water gun the size of a tank!

Speaking of which, the Total Drama girls look like they’re enjoying playing a game without one of Chris’ insane twists in huck-finn-forever’s entry. Awesome!

daanton’s piece has a neat story behind it. It’s based on this linework by tdi-exile, but got a complete makeover for a cool one-two punch of winter vacay sweetness.

CIT-Courtney has Total Drama characters in Stoked style and Stoked characters in Total Drama style… I might not know what’s going on, but I know I like it!

Today wraps up our first monthly contest on reFresh Pics, our deviantART fan group! April’s theme was original characters, and man were we blown away by the entries! Gorgeous art and cool background info is a one-two punch of awesome. Here are a few pieces that really caught our eye.

Yasmine “Yaz” Milan is a laid-back gal who works at the North Shore Surf n’ Skate in the 6TEEN mall. Check out cjl1217’s gallery for tons of Yaz goodness, including alternate outfits, supporting cast and a Stoked redesign!

Speaking of alternate outfits, TDI-Exile’s model sheet for Cleo here is so sweet it’ll give you cavities. This energetic chica is Chef’s 10 year-old niece; presumably the cutie takes after the other side of the family. (The cardboard standee of Chef standing behind my desk is not amused.)

Here’s another full model sheet; I’m thinking we’ve got some future designers and animators out there! Adrian here has the dubious honour of being Bummer’s personal assistant, which had got to be a rough job for this high-strung surfer, who’s “known for freaking out.” Hang in there, buddy.

We saw a lot of characters who had both 6TEEN and Stoked designs, but kittykoolkatz went for the hat-trick and gave us Vanessa the art geek as a character from TDI as well! I particularly like the prescription goggles on her Stoked character model. Very nice touch.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, folks. Head over the reFresh Pics for more OCs, like tomboy surfer Charlotte, soft-spoken Brit Madeline and not-actually-emo-he-just-likes-the-style Ayden. Every one of the submissions is worth taking a look at.

We’ve gotten loads of great fan art for all our shows, but the Stoked gallery is lagging way behind! Ladies and gents, this will not stand. Therefore, May’s contest theme is artwork featuring one or more of the characters from Stoked. To keep things fair for those who’ve already submitted cool art of our favourite groms, entries have to be new artwork submitted to dA during the contest, which runs from right now to June 3rd. Surfs up!
