Spotlight- 6teen.ca

Welcome back to Spotlight, where we shine a light on the best of the best from FreshTV’s amazing fan base. This time we’re looking at 6teen.ca, an absolutely unbelievable fan site for everybody’s favourite mall rats!

Even if 6teen.ca was just character bios and episode guides, it would be pretty cool. Add in some fun games and you’ve got something cooking, for sure. Galleries for fan art and a forum for all things FreshTV? Check. But it’s the mind-blowing, interactive interface that makes 6teen.ca the place to go for all of that. Using the mall directory as a menu? Genius!

The entire site is extremely slick and professional looking, not to mention easy to navigate. Bringing all of those elements together in one place makes 6teen.ca a must-bookmark site for any 6TEEN fan. Our hats are off to you!

In other news, a reminder that entries for June’s BFF art jam over on our deviantART group have to be in by the end of the month; we’ll share some of our favourites on Thursday. Until then…

Spotlight – Dramatic Static

Hey gang!
As promised, today we bring you the first installment of re:Fresh’s new feature: Spotlight. In each post we’ll be taking a look at an individual fan, group of fans or a fan site that has made a notable contribution to the community. Be it a prolific artist, awesome forum or something else, we want you to drop us a line nominating who you think best proves that Fresh TV has the greatest fans in the world!

First up is Dramatic Static, a forum dedicated to all things Fresh TV! It’s a fairly new site, but it’s become very popular very quickly, with message boards dedicated to each season of Total Drama along with 6TEEN and Stoked. The site also helps to encourage all manner of fan work with a special Fanon board and a section for roleplaying!

One of the things that sets Dramatic Static apart is its tournaments; members form teams and compete in creative writing challenges hosted by the site admins! Not surprisingly, the tournament board is easily the most active spot on the entire forum – exciting stuff! To everybody at Dramatic Static, keep up the excellent work!

Spotlight

Hey folks!
This week we’re announcing a new feature for re:Fresh, where we’ll be spotlighting exceptional fan sites and members of the online fan community. How are we going to find our subjects, you ask? Once again, we’re turning to all of you, our faithful viewers and readers to point us in the right direction!

Here’s the catch: you can’t nominate yourself. Either let us know about a website, be it a forum, gallery or something else, or give the nod to another, exceptional fan. We want to recognize the people who have made Fresh’s online community so amazing while bringing that community close together.

Meanwhile, don’t forget that there’s just one week left in out Stoked fan art jam on re:Fresh Pics, our deviantART group. Next week I’ll be sharing some of our favourite submissions. Until then…
