Bubble Boy and Fame Finder

Hey gang!
Thursday means another all new episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island on TELETOON tonight, with an episode of My Babysitter’s a Vampire following later in the evening! You guys have made it clear that you’ve fallen in love with the new cast of contestants, so here’s another pair of high-resolution character images suitable for computer wallpapers or just staring at while you sigh dreamily. Plus their audition tapes! Kinda makes you wonder what Chris was thinking when he saw these, huh?

On a related note, don’t forget that tonight is the absolute deadline for any submissions to January’s art jam on re:Fresh Pics where we wanted to see your take on your favourite character from the new group! We’ll be featuring out favourites here on the blog come Monday, along with the new jam topic for February!

Make Your Break with Family Channel

Hey gang!
With January drawing to a close, 2012 is now well underway, and that means just one thing: time to start planning for your next vacation! February’s the shortest month, people; March Break is going to be here before we know it! If you expect to get the maximum use out of every day off, you’d better start planning now. Luckily, Family Channel is here to help!

They want to hear about your favourite March Break activity as part of the Make Your Break contest. If your idea is one of the most truly awesome, it’ll become part of their ultimate March Break activity guide and you could win some truly awesome prizes! The more activities you suggest, the more chances you have to win!

Starting on February 20th you’ll be able to check the list to see if your ideas made the cut and get some tips from your fellow March Break Masters. In the meantime, you can check out what some Family Channel stars are planning for their own time off. Sydney Imbeau of Really Me fame had this to share:

    “On spring break there are so many activities I like to do. I spend as much time with my friends as possible and just enjoy my time off of school. There’s an amazing place near my hometown of Vernon, BC where you can go zip lining. I love going there and am definitely planning on going again this spring break. I also like to take road trips whenever I can, they’re always fun. There’s so much to do on spring break!”

Zip lining? Sweet! Don’t forget to catch Sydney and the rest of the Really Me crew on Family Channel, and start sharing those March Break plans!

re:Fresh re:Minder

Hey gang!
You don’t really need me to remind you to catch the new episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island tonight, right? You already know it’ll be airing on TELETOON at 7:00PM. You know that it’ll be a must-see since a cast member is going to be voted off every single episode this season, making it the most intense challenge yet, and that not even your new favourite from this season’s all new cast is safe. You’re well aware that there’s less than a week left in this month’s art jam over on re:Fresh Pics, where we want to see your rendition of said new favourite cast member. And you definitely know to stick around after the episode to watch My Babysitter’s a Vampire at 8:00PM.

Show Some Love!

Hey gang!
Now that you’ve had some time to get over the initial shock of awesome, we’re putting out the call to all of our Canadian My Babysitter’s a Vampire fans to let us know what they think now that they’ve had a chance to see some of Season 1 for themselves! Episodes will continue to roll out every Thursday at 8:00PM as part of Can’t Miss Thursdays on TELETOON, along with Total Drama: Revenge of the Island at 7:00 PM, and after each episode, we want to hear what your favourite parts were, which character stole the spotlight, which punchlines had you busting a gut and which monsters had you screaming your head off! For our US fans who’ve already scoped out Season 1 on Disney Channel, this is the perfect opportunity to revisit some memories and join in on the comments below. Just remember not to spoil anything for your northern brethren!

Totally Toxic Rats!

Hey gang!
Thursday again, and that means it’s time to get pumped for a new episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island on TELETOON tonight at 7:00 PM! It’s part of Can’t Miss Thursdays along with Season 1 episodes of My Babysitter’s a Vampire airing for the first time in Canada at 8:00 PM, so there’s no excuse for any Fresh Fans in the True North not to be tuning in!

This season of Total Drama is the most intense yet, with a contestant being voted off in every single episode! No reward challenges this year, dudes and dudettes, somebody’s packing it in each week! Drop us a comment below letting us know what you think, but try to avoid spoilers for the sake of our international friends who haven’t gotten a chance to watch the new season for themselves yet. All you Canadian My Babysitter’s a Vampire fans in the audience will already know that you can catch another Season 1 episode this Thursday on TELETOON as part of the Can’t Miss Thursdays lineup along with Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. But for those of you who need more than one Vanessa Morgan fix in a week, this Friday you can see her in Geek Charming on Family Channel, too! She plays Hannah, part of the most fabulous clique at her school!

Behind the Scenes with Kate Todd

Kate Todd is a woman of many talents. Actress. Singer-songwriter. Vampire cheerleader. And now intrepid reporter!

In between shooting scenes for the second season of My Babysitter’s a Vampire, Kate took time to grab a bunch of great behind-the-scenes photos and videos for us to share with all of you. Here are some peeks at the filming process, the work that goes into hair and makeup, a teaser for a new Season 2 costume and hanging out with Executive Producer Brian Irving!

TD:RotI Cast List

Hey gang!
We’ve been getting loads of questions about the voice actors for the new cast of competitors on Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, so I hunted down the credits for the new season so I could share them with all you inquiring minds! …huh. There are some familiar names on that list. Eh, probably just left over from the first three seasons, right? Owen was the only one with a speaking part in the first episode, after all!

TD RotI and MBV on TELETOON Tonight!

Hey gang!
Happy New Year! Or should I say Happy TOON Year?! …no, I guess I probably shouldn’t.

Terrible puns aside, the day is finally here! New Season 1 episodes of My Babysitter’s a Vampire and the world premier of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island will be airing on TELETOON tonight as part of Can’t Miss Thursdays! TD: RotI plays at 7:00 and MBV airs at 8:00, so you’ve got just enough time to get your snacks and beverages of choice ready, tell your Facebook friends they won’t be hearing from you for a couple hours and get yourself in front of the TV! Meanwhile, TELETOON will be updating their Twitter feed throughout the launch party, so be sure follow and check back there, too.

My Babysitter’s a Vampire – “Facts for Fans” Edition

Robin here! Just a note to make sure everybody knows: TELETOON is airing a special “Facts for Fans” edition of My Babysitter’s a Vampire – the Movie on Wednesday, Jan. 4th at 7pm. This version includes on-screen pop-ups, with insider facts about the world of the movie/show and the making of, so it’s a must-see for fans!

And of course, don’t forget about the premiere of Season I on Jan. 5th, as part of TELETOON’s Ultimate Launch Party!
